About Us

Robert Bird started his firm in Brisbane, Australia in 1982 and from the beginning the firm's clients liked the way Robert and his colleagues worked with them and delivered consistently better outcomes. Word got around. Over 80% of the current client base still comes from referrals. Also, as clients expanded, they continued to use Robert Bird & Partners. Today, Robert Bird Group has an impressive portfolio of work throughout the world - and has established offices in: Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Newcastle and North Queensland); the United Kingdom (London); the United Arab Emirates (Dubai); and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

And whilst structural engineering remains our specialty, our services have grown to include Civil engineering services and Exallos - our Specialist Engineering division.
