Matt has nearly 20 years’ experience in structural engineering and is a specialist in leading and delivering major urban regeneration projects. Since joining RBG in 2006, he has worked on a number of highly technical and complicated projects in New Zealand, Canada and Australia. His impressive skills in team leadership, combined with his technical expertise in long span structures, high rise design, Health projects and Metro make him invaluable to the delivery of major projects.
Matt has been a leader in the development of the Group’s Engineering & Technology global working group – he has always set ambitious goals to heighten the standards within the practice. Matt’s project focus has been on large-scale residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, including playing leading roles on projects such as the award-winning One Central Park development, The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre Redevelopment, and the Lend Lease Barangaroo residential development, One Sydney Harbour. Matt has developed RBG’s capability into Metro having led the Metron consortium through the stage 1 design of the city stations and following with other station construction design. Matt also has a wealth of experience in the design of healthcare projects including Blacktown and Tweed Hospital.
