Paul Mullett

Following graduation from the University of Southampton in 1995, Paul joined a top-tier engineering consultancy and worked in a technical support team providing specialist analytical and engineering consultancy services. In this role, Paul worked on a range of technically challenging projects, spanning across various market sectors and technical disciplines.

In 2006, Paul was seconded to Dubai as Technical Manager, returning to the UK in 2009 to act as the manager of the Advanced Engineering Team. In this practice-wide role Paul’s remit was to improve the range and integration of advanced engineering capabilities across disciplines and geographic locations.

Paul joined Robert Bird Group in 2010 as General Manager for the MENA Office until 2017, managing over 50 staff and providing technical, commercial and contractual oversight for a range of large, challenging projects.

In 2017 Paul took on the role of Director (Head of Engineering and Technology) in the MENA Office, driving quality, innovation and engineering excellence across disciplines. In 2018 Paul took on the role as Group Engineering and Technology Director.

Paul has a keen interest in common-sense, technically-driven solutions, structural investigations, concrete durability, blast engineering and forensic engineering. As a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Paul is also well-versed in claims and disputes and can provide either Expert Advisor or Expert Witness services to clients.
