About the role

Due to continuing growth within the organisation, we are seeking to expand our Learning & Development (L&D) offering by employing dedicated resources in this area. Working with a high performing, service-oriented, collaborative team from RBG’s HQ in Fortitude Valley, you will report to the People & Culture (P&C) Manager, East.

In this new role will be providing strategic oversight, development, and delivery of L&D outcomes within the organisation on a global basis for both our East and West teams.

This position manages the delivery of recommendations and solutions specific to L&D including, learning needs analysis and delivery, vendor relationship management, course participation management and logistics, implementing new L&D programs, policies, and practices to meet the organisations needs and business strategy.

Partnering with stakeholders, with a values-driven approach, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Development of L&D strategies, frameworks and initiatives globally
  • Input into the design, delivery and sourcing of L&D solutions including blended learning programs (online/classroom) & technology solutions
  • Development of RBG specific learning programs (e.g. GDP, Management Program, Leadership masterclasses; career development)
  • Collaborating with the P&C team/function to effectively guide on L&D strategy and identification of learning needs.

About you

You have excellent leadership, engagement/partnering, technical and people skills backed by effective communication and negotiation skills and the confidence to support and mentor senior management and prioritise competing demands.

A strong strategic mindset together with good commercial acumen and project management skills will be essential to this role.

You will also possess a strong working knowledge and background in L&D techniques and strategies including experience with e-learning development tools.

While experience in professional services / engineering is desirable, it is not essential and candidates from a range of backgrounds will be considered.
