About the role
Reporting to the Director People & Culture, responsibilities include managing a high performing, service-oriented, collaborative team from RBG’s HQ in Fortitude Valley. This is an outstanding career opportunity and a chance to lead and re-set the People & Culture function as the firm enters the next phase of its grow trajectory to employer of choice. We offer a dynamic environment and the People & Culture team have a key role in the exciting change journey ahead as RBG continue to successfully partner on landmark construction projects including transport infrastructure and transformative urban development projects.
Partnering with stakeholders, with a values-driven approach, key responsibilities include:
- Development of people strategies including OD and Learning & Development initiatives globally
- Providing strategic support, coaching and mentoring
- Oversight of corporate governance & cultural change, continuous development, payroll & HRIS
- Provision of professional, reliable, high quality, service-driven support to enhance RBG’s operational performance and efficiencies
- IR / ER strategic advice
You have excellent leadership, engagement/partnering, technical and people skills backed by effective communication and negotiation skills and the confidence to support and mentor senior management plus prioritise competing demands. We’re seeking someone who enjoys leading and growing effective teams, engaging with people at all levels, adding value and developing quality relationships to deliver optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development.
Ideally, we’re looking to appoint a seasoned generalist with appropriate professional qualifications from a professional services consulting background and approximately ten to fifteen years’ experience. While experience in professional services / engineering is desirable, it is not essential and candidates from a range of backgrounds will be considered.
Flexibility to travel to our offices across Australia, NZ and HK from time to time is also a requirement.
