About the role

Based at RBG’s London offices, this is an outstanding career opportunity offering the chance to lead and re-set RBG’s People & Culture function as the firm enters the next phase of its growth trajectory, including becoming an employer of choice. Reporting to the Director People & Culture, in Australia, responsibilities include managing a high performing, service-oriented, collaborative team.

We offer a dynamic environment and the People & Culture team have a key role in the exciting change and growth journey ahead as we continue to successfully partner on landmark construction projects including transport infrastructure and transformative urban development projects.

Partnering with stakeholders, with a values-driven approach, key responsibilities include:

  • Development of people strategies including OD and Learning & Development initiatives
  • Provision of strategic people support, coaching and mentoring services
  • Oversight of corporate governance & cultural change, continuous development, payroll & HRIS
  • Provision of professional, reliable, high quality, service-driven HR services to enhance RBG’s operational performance and efficiencies
  • IR / ER strategic advice

About you

You are a leader with a consultative, business partnering style backed by sound HR technical skills, strong communication and negotiation capabilities plus the confidence to support and mentor senior management and prioritise competing demands.  We’re seeking someone who enjoys growing effective teams, engaging with people at all levels, adding value and developing quality relationships to deliver optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development.

We’re after a seasoned generalist with appropriate professional qualifications from a professional services consulting background and a minimum of ten years’ experience. Experience in professional services / engineering is desirable but applicants from any industry with complex international cross-matrix structures are encouraged.

Flexibility to travel to our offices across UK, Europe, Middle East & United States from time to time is also a requirement.
