The opportunity:
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this role will act as the first point of contact for People & Culture (P&C) related queries and provide support in all stages of the employee lifecycle. Key duties include maintaining personnel records, managing the P&C inbox, and updating internal databases. In addition, this role will provide direct support to the wider P&C team.
This exciting position would suit someone with prior exposure to a HR administration role who is looking to further their HR career experience. The role will include:
- Answering all basic P&C related queries from employees and being the main support for the P&C inbox.
- Recruitment administration, co-ordination of new starter documents and drafting or employment contracts.
- Responsibility for the onboarding processes for permanent hires, interns, and work experience students.
- Assist the P&C team with the administration of end of year and interim PDR processes and annual salary reviews.
- Support benefits administration including health & wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the People & Culture Manager and other team members, including providing support in the coordination of meetings and minutes.
- Assist with updating all relevant P&C information and documents on the intranet.
- Support the P&C team in the development and execution of projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the P&C function to the business, making improvements to our processes to ensure they are efficient and ensure we are providing excellent client service.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in a similar HR administrative role in a professional office environment is preferred
- Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain good working relationships
- The ability to work with high volumes of data and documents
- Strong organisational skills with proven experience in meeting deadlines and multitasking
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
