The Opportunity

Based in Melbourne and reporting to the General Manager, this structural engineering role will be instrumental in leading our team of talented engineers, the promotion of Robert Bird Group to new and existing clients, ensuring a positive client experience and supporting the growth of our business. From a technical perspective, you will be responsible for the oversight of design, design and design philosophy development and preparation of preliminary designs and/or review and approval of preliminary designs.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Relevant academic qualifications
  • Chartered status
  • Industry experience in Australia and an understanding of Australian Building Standards
  • International experience is also desirable
  • Strong leadership skills and experience running a team
  • 15+ years experience
  • Enjoy a client-facing role and
