The Opportunity
Due to recent project wins, an exciting permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Senior Structural Engineer / Associate to join our CE team in North Sydney. Join a high performing and technically astute CE team and play a key role in successfully delivering current and future projects.
This role provides an opportunity to work directly with contractors and developers to create structural engineering solutions to overcome a wide range of technical challenges contractors face when constructing buildings and infrastructure projects. You will also engage your effective coaching skills to mentor and support the development of engineers and graduate.
Duties
The successful applicant will have:
- 5+ years’ structural engineering experience, ideally on a diverse range of temporary structures
- The motivation to work on the design of temporary works and to develop construction methodology with contractors
- The ability to lead project teams and to be client-facing
- Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Relevant academic qualifications and Chartered status
- Australian experience, including a sound understanding of AU Standards
