Tilt Renewables is developing the Waverley Wind Farm project located 8 km south-west of Waverley town, in the South Taranaki District, New Zealand. The project includes 31 Siemens-Gamesa wind turbines, and associated infrastructure such as wind turbine foundations, access tracks, 110/33kV on site substation, operations and maintenance facility, underground power/communications cabling, wind monitoring masts and approximately 11km of 110kV overhead line.

Spread across four farms comprising 980ha, the 160m high turbines (maximum height to blade tip) will generate 450-460GWh a year which can power approximately 70,000 homes.

Tilt Renewables engaged RBG to provide an independent review and Technical Due Diligence of the documentation issued by the designers of the project. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2020.
