Our Construction Engineering (CE) teams provide specialist staged analysis, construction methodology and temporary works design services to some of the biggest contractors constructing Melbourne’s most significant building and major transport infrastructure projects. We deliver proven ‘design for delivery’ results, providing quality-controlled engineering solutions for complex construction challenges such as the Construction Methodology and Temporary Works for some of the world’s largest, highest-profile, and most complex built-form projects.
Our recent project portfolio includes the iconic buildings Australia 108, 80 Collins St and 405 Bourke Street, complex steelworks projects including AAMI Stadium, the MCG Northern Stand redevelopment and the Adelaide Oval Redevelopment. We are currently working on some of Melbourne’s largest infrastructure projects such as the Westgate Tunnel, various stages of the Melbourne Metro project and Melbourne’s current Grade Separations.
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our CE team in Melbourne. Join a highly skilled and energetic CE team and play a key role in assisting us in successfully delivering current and future projects.
This role provides an opportunity to work directly with contractors and developers to create structural engineering solutions to overcome a wide range of technical challenges contractors face when constructing buildings and infrastructure projects.

The successful applicant will have:
- 3+ years’ experience in the design of complex structures. A background in temporary works and/or developing construction methodologies with contractors is desired.
- Ability to work independently and to be client-facing
- Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Relevant academic qualifications
- Australian experience, including a sound understanding of AU Standards
