Aravind has 11 years of experience in civil and construction engineering including significant experience in temporary works design for major infrastructure projects.
Aravind joined Robert Bird Group (RBG) Dubai Office in 2018 where he utilises his leadership, technical skills and professional experience to develop reliable technical solutions in a timely manner. His experiences cover a broad range of permanent civil and temporary works designs such as bulk earthwork, roadworks, pavement, utility installation/protection, temporary hardstands, crane pads, formworks, pre-casting systems, site establishment including site yards/facilities, bridge erection methodologies and site logistics phasing including transportation and handling studies.

Aravind has worked on all stages of a project lifecycle including assisting Contractors with technical input during Tender to provide a competitive advantage to their bid, performing traditional design services from concept to completion stage of projects and most recently as part of a technical team representing the Client and managing the design of a large civil / geotechnical / marine project. Specific responsibilities include planning, analysis and design of various civil permanent and temporary works, preparation of design documents, coordination with various stake holders, facilitating approvals from client’s consultants / authorities and technical assistance to execution team on critical activities and has proven track record in handling large and complex projects.
