From 2016 to 2021, Chris served as the Production Manager at Robert Bird Group (RBG) in Dubai, managing all drafting teams across, Structures, Civil & Construction Engineering. During his tenure, Chris led the formation of the RBG Dubai Virtual Design & Construction Team and played a pivotal role in integrating virtual design and construction (VDC) practices with the Dubai Construction Engineering team. Chris also pursued a Master’s degree in Parametric Design in Madrid, further enhancing his skills and staying at the forefront of industry advancements. 

Presently at RBG as Lead Digital/Computational Designer – East, Chris continues to drive innovation and push the boundaries of traditional structural engineering. Chris has successfully utilised parametric BIM workflows across larger projects in Infrastructure, Structures & Construction Engineering generating accurate structure set-outs while accommodating geometric alignment changes. This approach has significantly reduced design iterations, resulting in substantial cost and time savings.
