Dallas graduated with Second Class Honours from the University of Western Sydney in 1999, bringing over two decades of invaluable experience to the field of structural engineering. He joined Robert Bird Group in 2006 and has since contributed his expertise to a diverse array of projects spanning Australia, the UK, and Dubai, including commercial, industrial, residential, and educational structures.

With a focus on complex steel structures and composite structures, Dallas boasts extensive experience in structural design. Dallas was the lead Structural Engineer on the design of the complex diagrid steel and composite structure, Jubilee Place. Jubilee Place was the Queensland State Winner for Buildings – Large Projects in the ASI Steel Excellence Awards in 2022.

In his recent role on the Queens Wharf Development in Brisbane, Dallas was pivotal in the design of the three steel framed Sky Decks that link the four towers of the project. The design required the analysis of complex steel connections and a detailed vibration performance assessment of the Sky Decks. Dallas’s excellent technical abilities, and dedication to delivering innovative and efficient structural solutions makes him a valuable asset to every project he undertakes.
