With over 17 years of experience in engineering design, construction and project leadership, Dayo has worked across a range of complex residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments. He joined Robert Bird Group in 2017, having built a strong track record in the successful delivery of technically challenging projects.

At Robert Bird Group, Dayo led the delivery of the St. John’s Wood Square development, where the team navigated stringent ground movement requirements, the construction of a basement above the Jubilee line tunnels, and the use of vibration isolation bearings to support the structure. This project is representative of Dayo’s ability to manage complexity while maintaining programme, quality and safety.

His project experience also includes Elephant and Castle MP5 H7, High Road West Plot A, Novotel Canary Wharf, Saffron Square Croydon, 375 Kensington High Street and One Commercial Street.

Alongside project delivery, Dayo is actively involved in developing and mentoring engineers within his team, with a focus on building strong technical capability and confident future leaders. He has a genuine interest in improving efficiency across design and construction, and encourages a practical, collaborative approach to problem‑solving.

Dayo is a member of the Surbana Jurong Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Council, and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where people feel supported, respected and able to contribute fully.
