With a tenure beginning in 2006, Matt has amassed over 12 years of extensive experience in technical drawing and detailing across a spectrum materials, including steel, concrete, and timber. A trailblazer in the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Matt possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this transformative process.

Transitioning from a focus on permanent structures, which included meticulous reinforced concrete detailing, Matt now spearheads a proficient technician team. His leadership is integral to the execution of technically complex and captivating projects. Matt consistently ensures the delivery of projects to BIM level 2 standard, overseeing the resourcing, worksharing and integrity of project data.

Most recently, Matt has assumed leadership of Robert bird Group’s Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) process within the UK. This pioneering avenue, supported by our VDC teams in Melbourne and Dubai, underscores Matt’s commitment to innovation. The VDC process brings to life a virtual representation of proposed construction methodologies, enhancing design certainty and project constructability to unprecedented levels.
