
Samer, a Chartered Principal Structural Engineer, boasts over 15 years of industry experience. Graduating with First-Class Honors from the University of Melbourne in 2011, he has played pivotal roles in numerous large-scale multi-disciplinary projects spanning road and rail civil infrastructure, mining, wind energy, maritime structures, underground structures, and long-spanning steel structures.
With a focus on road and rail infrastructure, Samer holds robust client relationships with major contractors. His extensive experience encompasses the design of both permanent and temporary works. Samer excels in people and project management, leading a team of engineers within Robert Bird Group (RBG) Melbourne’s Construction Engineering division, consistently surpassing industry expectations.
Spearheading technical and commercial delivery, Samer has led various significant infrastructure and energy projects. These include the West Gate Tunnel Project, Mortlake South Wind Farm, Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, Mount Gellibrand Wind Farm, North East Link – Southern Alliance Temporary Works, Southern Program Alliance Level Crossing Removals, Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removals, Gippsland Line Upgrade, Western Program Alliance, and Waurn Ponds Duplication.
