Simon began his career with Robert Bird Group as a graduate in Brisbane in 1994. He has extensive experience gained through projects in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, the United States and the UAE. Simon also spent time in Melbourne and as the General Manager in Sydney. Simon returned to London in 2020 and now leads the UK and Europe business. Simon enjoys leading complex structural projects whether they be very tall such as Merdeka 118 or more modest such as 1 Liverpool Street.

Simon’s most recent project experience includes 1 Liverpool Street OSD and the Camp Nou Stadium Redevelopment. Other notable projects include Waterloo ISD as part of the new Sydney Metro City and Southwest project, Merdeka 118, ICD Brookfield Place Dubai, Crown Sydney, Battersea Power Station, and Nova Victoria.
