The Union Court is a new innovative cultural precinct located on ANU University Avenue. The 44,000m2 project is architecturally designed by BVN, consisting off six buildings, public podium and a single-storey basement.

The key features of the Union Court Redevelopment include:

  • Single storey basement car park, with both soldier pile and concrete retention system to suit the ground fall of the site, located directly adjacent to Sullivan’s Creek.
  • The podium consists of six buildings surrounding public outdoor areas including retail facilities, swimming pools, a gymnasium, cinema, event space and an amphitheatre.
  • Two of Australia’s largest mass timber construction buildings used for 450-person student accommodation and a collaborative teaching building.
  • Refurbishment of the existing four-storey Chifley Library.
