The Arena has won numerous awards and was delivered in an impressive 18-month build programme. Since opening in 2005, Coventry Arena has been a huge success with more than one million visitors travelling to this 40-acre site. Coventry Arena’s state-of-the-art conference, banqueting, exhibition, hotel and sports facilities make it a unique venue.

To bring this project to fruition, we carried out Value Engineering and Buildability studies to assist Laing O’Rourke in winning the tender. During the design and construction phase, we assumed the role of structural engineer on the Exhibition Centre and Casino side of the arena. We also coordinated and reviewed the design and build construction work for structural steel, pre-cast concrete and cladding on the stadium.
