The Logan Hospital extension was a $68m project for Queensland Health incorporating new ward blocks, refurbishments of existing buildings and new car parks. This redevelopment was a total 21,000m2 of new building construction.

  • Robert Bird Group successfully delivered feature roof steel design and elevated roadways on a site with difficult geotechnical conditions.
  • Operation of the hospital was also continuously maintained during the three-year construction period.
  • This site is an expansive soil site with elevated roadways.
