Waipipi Waverley Wind Farm

Tilt Renewables developed the Waipipi Waverley Wind Farm project located 8 km south-west of Waverley town, in the South Taranaki District, New Zealand. The project includes 31 Siemens-Gamesa wind turbines, and associated infrastructure such as wind turbine foundations, access tracks, 110/33kV on site substation, operations and maintenance facility, underground power/communications cabling, wind monitoring masts and approximately 11km of 110kV overhead line.

Spread across four farms comprising 980ha, the 160m high turbines (maximum height to blade tip) will generate 450-460GWh a year which can power approximately 70,000 homes.

Tilt Renewables engaged RBG to provide an independent review and Technical Due Diligence of the documentation issued by the designers of the project.
