Damon has amassed extensive design experience across public, commercial, and residential projects in Australia, the UK, Middle East, and Asia since joining Robert Bird Group in 2006. Notably, he has led design teams on landmark public assembly structures like the Library and Convention Centre buildings at Zayed University, Khalifa City, and the 9,000-person capacity Theatre Building at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney.

Damon excels in collaborating with stakeholders to achieve both functionality and aesthetics while driving structurally efficient and buildable solutions, including the unique Jubilee Place project in Brisbane. Specialising in structural design for major projects, Damon has led design teams on iconic developments such as Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur and One Barangaroo in Sydney.

In his role as Project Director for the delivery of the four towers and sky deck of the Integrated Resort Development of Queen’s Wharf in Brisbane, Damon has showcased his indispensable leadership skills, proving instrumental to the projects’ success.
