Ross Lucas

Ross is a business leader and chartered civil engineer with expertise in the design and delivery of infrastructure and development projects. As General Manager New Zealand for Robert Bird Group, Ross provides guidance and leadership to the teams in Wellington and Auckland. He also provides design and project leadership, acting as Project Director or Design Manager. Ross has strong leadership skills developed through military training and project leadership internationally.

Ross has worked across multiple sectors and is experienced in multi-discipline and stakeholder coordination. Ross has enjoyed international travel, delivering projects in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Egypt, Middle East and India.  From these experiences he is able to bring a holistic view to delivery, problem solve, or just have a good yarn.

Major project highlights include Waikeria Prison PPP in New Zealand, Barangaroo Headland Park, and the North Ryde Station Urban Activation Precinct in Sydney, Thames Water District Mains Renewals in London, Port Rashid Redevelopment in Dubai, and North Camp Base upgrades in the Sinai Peninsula.
