Darling Quarter

Constructed between 2007 and 2011, Darling Quarter was collaborative effort between the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority (SHFA) and Lend Lease. The $500m mixed use project included a low rise campus-style commercial development, a family and leisure precinct with retail and dining options, a new public park and carpark.

The precinct has won 5 international and over 39 Australian Industry awards and has greatly improved public activation by bringing together commercial, retail and leisure all within the one area. A new pedestrian link, referred to as the Civic Connector, creates a gateway to Darling Harbour that connects to Town Hall station, Chinatown and the Darling Harbour waterfront.
