Damian, as Principal Structural Engineer, leads the Construction Engineering team within the RBG New Zealand offices. Previously, he served as Director and Construction Engineering Division Manager in RBG’s UK operations, overseeing its substantial growth. Throughout his tenure, Damian has championed RBG’s distinctive approach to holistic design leadership, crafting innovative solutions that integrate construction methodology with temporary and permanent works design.

With over 25 years of expertise spanning various geographical locations, Damian has consistently delivered high-quality structural engineering services across diverse sectors. His portfolio encompasses industrial and power generation projects, sports and cultural facilities, educational buildings, marine and landside infrastructure, deep basements, seismic upgrades of heritage structures, as well as commercial and residential developments.

Damian has made significant contributions to the City Rail Link, Te Awa Kairangi, Central Interceptor, Te Kaha and Waikeria Prison projects in New Zealand. Other career highlights include his involvement in the Auckland Town Hall Restoration and Dunedin Stadium projects in New Zealand, and the Canada Water Underground Station, 21 Moorfields and Battersea Power Station projects in the UK.
