Geoff possesses over three decades of extensive financial management expertise, with a significant portion of his career spanning 25 years within the realm of retail financial services. His formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, fellowship with FINSIA, and graduation from the Institute of Company Directors, highlighting his proficiency in financial leadership.

Having joined Robert Bird Group in 2014, Geoff currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer based in Brisbane. In this capacity, he oversees comprehensive financial and management reporting, cash management, treasury operations, as well as forecasting and preparation of financial statements for the entire group’s operations. Geoff’s breadth of experience extends across various disciplines such as treasury, accounting, and corporate services, honed through his tenure in diverse business environments.

Geoff’s pivotal role was underscored during the due diligence process, a key component of the successful sale of the business to Surbana Jurong in 2017. Additionally, his past engagements as a company secretary and director of operating companies in regulated industries have provided him with substantial exposure to corporate and fiduciary governance.
