Ian joined Robert Bird Group (RBG) in 2005, bringing prior experience in design consulting and construction engineering from Australia and the United Kingdom. During his tenure, he has worked across global offices, growing RBG’s civil design capabilities in emerging markets. Ian’s responsibilities have encompassed delivering civil engineering design for projects ranging from small domestic to internationally significant endeavours.

Leveraging his background in construction and consulting, alongside his diverse global exposure, Ian offers innovative solutions to address challenges and pre-empt potential issues in engineering design. As the Brisbane’s Civil Infrastructure Manager, Ian oversees the delivery of both domestic and international projects. His team’s extensive expertise supports RBG’s offices worldwide.
