John joined Robert Bird Group (RBG) in 2002 and has since held the position of General Manager for Melbourne, a role he has occupied since 2012. Over the course of three decades, John has contributed to a wide array of building projects, ranging from $1 million to over $1 billion in total project value. These include medium to high-rise residential developments reaching up to 108 stories, specialised modular apartment systems like Unitised Building and cross laminated timber (CLT), as well as commercial, retail, recreational, health, industrial, educational, and government projects. His extensive experience encompasses design, management, and onsite supervision.

John is dedicated to achieving optimal outcomes for clients and prioritises collaborative work with project teams and builders, endorsing and advancing RBG’s entrenched ethos.
