Scott Wheeler

Scott joined the Robert Bird Group (RBG) in 1997. During his time at RBG, he has led the structural engineering design for major projects in Australia, Middle East and United Kingdom. In 2003-2005, Scott managed the Global Business Unit (GBU), where he led the delivery of alternative design solutions for the Heathrow Terminal 5 Multi-Storey Carpark (MSCP5) and Dubai International Airport, Terminal 3. In 2005-2012, Scott was a Director of the UK Business, where he led the design delivery for Westfield London, Westfield Stratford and 100 Bishopsgate in the City of London. In 2013, Scott returned to Australia, where he delivered major projects in Queensland and New South Wales, leading the design delivery on Grand Central Shopping Centre in Toowoomba and Wynyard Place in Sydney.

Scott’s international project experience provides invaluable knowledge in working to create safe, practical and buildable engineering solutions. His proactive design leadership approach has assisted RBG in the successful delivery of landmark developments.

He is currently the Managing Director for Buildings for Robert Bird Group and is supporting the RBG Engineering and Technical Pillar with the exciting digital transformation across the business.
