Nelson is a Chartered structural engineer with over 14 years’ experience in the engineering consulting industry in New Zealand, Ireland, and Malaysia. He has experience as structural lead, technical reviewer, design manager and design engineer for numerous building structures, water retaining and industrial structures across commercial and residential sectors, mixed use, education,

healthcare, power and 3 water sectors. Nelson possesses strong technical skills, is able to liaise with clients, and coordinate with other stakeholders to achieve innovative and cost-effective solutions. In particular, Nelson has a strong background in earthquake engineering, seismic design, and 3D finite element analysis.
