Five exceptional RBG projects have been honoured with prestigious awards at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) 2023 Regional Awards for Excellence. These accolades recognise our commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and sustainability in tall building and urban habitat design. The Greenland Centre Sydney – Best Tall Building Oceania

Adding to its list of achievements, Greenland Centre Sydney has received its second accolade with the CTBUH, awarded Best Tall Building Oceania after having picked up the Construction Award in 2022. This recognition further highlights the exceptional contributions of the entire project team who brought the prestigious residential tower to life within the constraints of its CBD location. Expertly engineered for an extended life, with RBG serving as the construction and temporary works structural engineers alongside the structural permanent works engineers Arup, the project delivered an additional 45 levels on top of an existing 26 storey building. It exemplifies the capacity of tall buildings to contribute to the future success of our urban habitats through technical innovation, adaptive re-use, and recycling. Read more
Royal Atlantis The Resort – Best Tall Building 100-199 Meters & Best Tall Building Middle East & Africa

Located on The Palm Jumeirah, Royal Atlantis the Resort is a mixed-use development consisting of 6 towers rising approximately 187 metres above ground, making it the tallest tower yet to be built on The Palm. The towers are linked together at the podium levels by a 50-meter-long sky bridge which serves as a shared lobby and amenity space for both the hotel and residences. The resort’s remarkable design, meticulous attention to detail, and sustainable features have solidified its place as an extraordinary contribution to the advancement of tall buildings and the urban environment, securing the title of Best Tall Building in the 100-199-meter height category. We are proud to have contributed critical construction engineering services to the project, including the installation of the multiple, multi-storey sky-bridges.
