Damien brought a wealth of experience to Robert Bird Group when he joined in 2017, having worked across diverse sectors such as transport, water, energy, and mining projects both as a consultant and on the client-side in Australia and the United Kingdom. As a Project Director, Damien successfully formed and led multidisciplinary teams through all stages of major projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

A Chartered Fellow of Engineers Australia, Damien holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, a Post-Graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Management (Engineering). He has authored technical papers covering various areas such as hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, and geotechnics, and has been recognised with prestigious awards including the G.N. Alexander and W.H. Warren medals from the Institute of Engineers Australia.
