Dylan Walmsley
Global Operations Director, Civil, Structural + Construction Engineering

Dylan, who joined Robert Bird Group (RBG) in 2002, initially excelled in Construction Engineering, showcasing expertise in developing construction methodologies across sectors. Notably, he led teams on complex projects, including solutions that enabled the world’s largest tower crane to be relocatable around the Gorgon LNG project construction site in Western Australia. His broad project experience led him to the role of General Manager for the RBG Brisbane office from 2014, overseeing large-scale mixed-use developments in Papua New Guinea and pioneering construction methodologies on project such as for the world’s longest main span suspension bridge in Canakkale, Turkey.

Since 2018, Dylan has focused on major infrastructure projects, notably as the Project Director for Cross River Rail in Brisbane, which includes four underground train stations delivered concurrently. In 2022 Dylan took on a role of Operations Manager for Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Dylan became the Global Operations Director for Civil, Structural, and Construction Engineering in 2024, overseeing global operations in these areas.
