Upon graduation, Jovana joined Robert Bird Group (RBG) as a Graduate Engineer. From the very start of her career, Jovana has developed different skills – from finite element analysis, RC structures, composite and PT design, and has also enhanced her skills in a number of design software, working on variety of different projects. Throughout her career, Jovana has been working on many challenging and iconic projects and has been considered as one of the curtail members of her team.

When Jovana first joined RBG, she was part of the Structures team, where she had a chance to experience permanent work design – getting familiar with the designing codes and standards, local municipality regulations, etc. She has worked on lateral analysis of tall towers, as well as design of different structural elements of a building. After two years in the Structures team, Jovana joined the Construction Engineering team. Here, she had a chance to work on the design of temporary works and construction methodology erection sequence of complex structures. She has been part of the team that was developing erection staged analysis of the unique 300,000m2 roof structure of the Kuwait Airport project.
