RBG UK joins the Southwark Climate Collective

We are proud to be a part of the 12-month programme, an initiative by Better Bankside, and supported by the Mayor of London, that will empower a community of 160 SME businesses across Southwark to reduce carbon emissions, increase efficiency and cut costs.

The programme will audit RBG’s supply chains, asses the associated carbon emissions of our regular suppliers, and then help us to understand spend versus emissions and recommend adjustments we can make to reduce those emissions at low or no cost.

The Southwark Climate Collective will also help us track our progress as we move towards net zero supply chain management.

This is part of Robert Bird Group’s wider sustainability initiatives, to become a net zero business. Tackling #ClimateChange requires ambitious action from SMEs. RBG is proud to have set a science-based target, positioning us as corporate leaders of the low-carbon transition, committing to building a sustainable economy, by doing not what is easy but what is necessary.
